Does puss mean the infection is leaving the body or is it gettiong worse?

I've had my belly button pierced for about 3 months, and it seems it is either infected, or i am allergic to the metal. i use the surgical steel rings. It has been red and pussing in the bottom hole, and is painful to move around alot. I have been using saline (salt water) and bacitracin (kinda like neosporin) to heal it. It has been pussing more when i use it, but it doesn'y look as red as it did earlier. Does this mean the the infection is leaving my body? or is it getting worse?

Wednesday before last, I fell over whilst I was running. My hands took most of the impact but I fell front faced onto my right knee whilst it was bent. There was no swelling at all but a little graze. The next day I had a sharp pain in my knee whenever I bent it. Sitting with my knee bent still doesn't hurt, but moving it does. I have been to see a doctor and they prescribed my with physiotherapy exercises to do for a fortnight, which i have been doing twice per day so far since Monday. However the pain- which feels as if its beneath the knee cap is still there and it won't go away. I have done minimal exercise and have been hobbling around because it hurts to climb the stairs. I have been researching my knee pain and I can't agree with any injuries I have read up about online since my knee doesnt give way. Does anyone think they can give me a second opinion and any further advice I should take?

I am in the midst of potty training (or at least trying to) my eight month old male maltese-poodle. I have had him for a few months but here's the situation: he will go outside when i take him, but if i don't take him sometimes (for like an hour) he needs to go, he sometimes just goes on the carpet when he feels like it! I am looking to have my maltese kept in a puppy cut. Part of the reason I want my dog to have a puppy cut is because i live in a very warm climate, it is 105 right now. My dog is too attached to us?

I have a 7 month old maltese that we absolutely love, but lately he is extremely attached to my mom and I. How do I know if I really did do something to my knee or if it's something that can heal itself over time?

So I'm a dancer and a gymnast... though ancient in both of those worlds since I'm in my mid 20's. Anyway, it's not been about 2 months since I injured my knee at the recital and it doesn't seem to be getting better (or worse!). What happened was I had done what's called a Front Walkover (perfectly) and when I landed I heard my knee pop! And afterwards I couldn't even get back up to finish my dance (gym) routine for the recital. I couldn't put any pressure on it whatsoever! I put ice on it once I got off stage for a bit and then hobbled to the car and went home (I wasn't driving my boyfriend was thankfully). Once I got to his place, I elevated it and put ice on it once again. I did that for the first few days. I also been wearing a knee brace (the kind you can just buy at walmart.). Without it I hobble significantly more then without it, but even with it, it's still difficult to really walk on it properly as well as put normal pressure on it. Is there anything really I can do about it???

Foot Blister Treatment?

My gym class was running today, and I usually wear my Vibram FiveFingers (barefoot shoes) to run in, but I didn't have them today, so I decided to run barefoot, thinking that the experience would be the same. Unknown knee injury - please help?

You really need to get it checked out, maybe xrayed too. My son hurt his kneecap and it turned out he totally tore the ACL ligament. There are all kinds of things going on with a knee and considering how long it has been symptomatic, it should be checked by a doctor. I would say the original injury where you fell on your knee is probably the reason it is hurting now. Good luck

Why do people run from the stench of death?

I've found that I can hobble, puke, and struggle along and people will share (sometimes feed or drive me) and talk with me so long as I don't tell them I'm dying of cancer. Once I say cancer, they're gone. The two only true friends I've ever had were my grandmother, and my father, and neither of them were my friend until they started dying of cancer. I never realized that until now. I've never run from the stench, but now I emit it, and am finding that a bit of perfume can keep me alive more than the truth. I guess that holds true on sooooooo many levels.

Alright so i was wrestling and I heard a pop in my right knee. It was bad first week was swollen couldn't bend it passed 90 degree couldn't straigten and i had to hobble. Why does my dog always look bored/sad when she doesn't have my attention?

I give her attention, I also have another dog that lives with us (shes not alone!). I play with her and walk her etc, but the minute I stop she starts looking bored and sad again. Sour lunch meat why does it happen?

why does lunch meat go sour? I thought it was filled with salt and nitrates and so on. Last Sat I bought a 1 pound of ham and a pound of chicken roll. I left them in in their palstic interleves and put them in a plastic dish and covered. I'm 13 and I wanted a yorkie too...then my neighbor got one. They are the dumbest dogs I've ever seen. Get a Pomeranian. They are cute, fluffy, tea cup size and smart. I recently got a Pomeranian. Keep in mind with toy dogs it takes about 5 months of potty training at most and they have to be let out every single hour until they are trained. They have to have some one there for them too. They can't be left in the house without a bathroom for about 4 hours. So I recommend getting a pomerainan. Also, getting a yorkie fixed has a chance to kill the dog since they are so small. I have a male Pomeranian who is fixed, smartest and most friendliest dog I've met. They hate kids pretty much and they tend to be independent. The male dogs are better in this case, the females get cranky and hate people unlike the male Pomeranians. That's all :)

yes, wwYd? what would YOU do?Today i was on my way to run some errands and I live about a mile from the nearest shopping center.As i was leaving my neighborhood a man who looked to be in his late 40s was standing in the street with a boot cast on his foot and with crutches at his side, he was wearing sweatpants and hadnt shaved in what seemed like two weeks. he started to wave his arms around looking pretty desperate, im not sure if it was cuz i was jamming out to the new brittney spears song and driving well over the speed limit, or because he was in need of a ride to get out of the cold. As i slowed down and hesistantly rolled my window down to see what he needed a look of relief came over his face, thinking back now it was prolly because i was the only car to have stopped to see what he needed. He was quick to point out the fact that he was wearing a boot and had crutches( as if i couldnt already see that psssh) and that he could use a ride up the street to the shopping center. I unawarely and regretably let out a loud "ummmmmmm" and he could see i was hesitant and again pushed the boot and crutches fact on me as he waved them around to try to convince me to give him a ride. As if i wasnt having a hard time deciding to give this random guy a ride a mile up to the store out of this 40 degree weather and off his seemingly broken foot he was quick to say "and i'll be needing a ride back as well." I mustered up what little since i had in my head and said "sure" not thinking about what potential dangers lied ahead. As he crutched his way around the car to the drivers side i was quick to hide my huge purse by my feet and leaned over to open his door and grab his crutches to help him in(instantly thought well if the guy seems threatening I'll just pop him off with his crutch). he politely introduced himself, " blah blah" .......yes I dont recall the name that came out of his mouth, i dont know if it was because I was in shock that i was actually picking up and giving a ride to a complete strange middle aged man, or because he reeked of alcohol. FLASHBACK the smell brought back a memeory, and I realized I had seen this man around before. As i pulled off i knew immediatly where he wanted to go, ABC......aka the liquor store. But for some reason I offered to take him to the grocery store. We made small talk the whole way there. Well I guess talking about how he hates soap operas but has become addicted to them since he broke his ankle isnt really your average small talk. Anyways the offer to the grocery store was met with a shy boyish look you know the one where a kid is offered candy by one of his parents freinds and he knows his moms watching and knows he cant be rude but he WANTS that candy so bashfully he replies "The ABC store please". we finished our soap opera talk with me saying my personal favorite wasnt any of the ones he named off that hed been watching but in fact "days of our lives". We came to a stop and he said "your gonna give me a ride back right?" i tried to lighten the mood but joking ith him and saying no im gonna make you walk back in the cold on your broken ankle. I luaghed and he gave ma nercous chuckle and asked if i wanted anything. Nope Im good I'll circle around the lot and come back for you. As he closed the door and cars that were starting to line up to wait for me to get out of the middle street from dropping him off were getting visibly impatient. The thought of leaving right then and there flashed across my mind, as i circled the lot I even pondered stopping to ask shoppers crossing the street what they would do?!! I was desperate for a way out of this akward situation. My thought process ended and I had circled all the way back in front of the abc store where the stranger came hobbling out out of. My parakeet's leg is broken. But he can still walk on it? What should I do?

I put a flat padded surface in his cage, and have a tiny heater to keep him warm. He still wants to perch, so I set it down lower so he won't hurt him self if he falls. His food is on ground level and he manages to hobble over to his millet seed. He wont drink water, so I use a tiny dropper and give it to him. My mother won't take him to the vet, and that makes me really upset, but she say's we don't have the money to do it D': Is what I'm doing sounding okay? Is there something more that I could be doing? Hi all, what is pepper extract that you find in food? What I mean is, what kind of pepper is it? Is it black, white, bell pepper, chilli pepper or what? I've done something to my ankle?

I was skipping/power walking (i know bad idea) across my class room today to get a dictionary. Halfway across the room i miss stepped and the side of my foot was on the ground and all my weight went onto it at a right angle. I herd a small crack (like you hear when you crack your knuckles) and then suddenly felt severe pain. I quickly sat on the closest table and it felt really painful. After a few minutes of sitting there i started to feel like i was going to vomit and i felt all the colour from my face drain. I hobbled over to sick bay and my shoe started to feel tight. I took my shoe off and sat in sick bay for 20 minutes with ice on it. During the 20 minutes it started to feel worse especially with the ice on it. My dad came and picked me up after about half an hour of being in the sick bay and my foot hurt a lot more to put weight on then than it did when i went to the sick bay. Its now about 1 1/2 hours later since i got home and its a little swollen and there seems to be this blue sore swollen lump on the left hand side of my foot (its my left foot). I got up about half an hour ago to go to the bathroom and the pain of walking on it is getting unbearable, i had to roll myself around my house on a desk chair it was so bad. Im keeping it elevated on a pillow. What else should i do? What do you think it is?

I tore both my achilles tendons over two years ago and they still really hurt. Ok, first of all dogs that grow long hair will have hair in their ears. They should be plucked at least every month to 3 months. The smell is probably an infection. You can buy ear powder at Petsmart to pull the hair yourself so you don't have to pay a groomer to do it. Unless you take her to get groomed then they should do it then.

My husband recently got his leg injured (hes in the marine corps btw), it was soft tissue damage on his entire calf area. Now the doctors said 7 days light duty. I've always used scarlet oil, and it is usually easily available and not very expensive. You could also use Betadine (intended for humans) but I'd dilute it a bit. I think as long as you keep it moist and covered it should heal well, since you are already giving penicillin. By the way - STUPID thing to have in a horse pasture - are they planning to remove it? I might talk to them about that. At the very least, hope they're paying your vet bill! (Last place I boarded my horse found a coil of barbed wire lying around in a field. Brilliant. But they did pay for my penicillin).

I believe it is like you say, for fashion, but I agree, they MUST be able to walk in them. Most people don't take the time to learn to walk in higher heels, and it does take time and commitment. I go through downtown CIncinnati and 1 out of every three women with heels over 4" look like they just started wearing heels that day. The younger women look to have no issues with them. It's all in foot training and stretching. I started wearing heels at 13, started with 3" and worked my way up. I can wear 6 1/4" heels without a latform and look graceful. They are not easy on the feet for extended wear but for evenings out, few hours at a time, no issues.

Dog knee Problem? What to do?

I have a 10 months old Maltese Poodle mix. She has all her shots and lately I took her for dental visit which everything is ok now. However this past week we were playing in backyard which i noticed she is quiet and when I checked her she was limping. After 2-3 min she start to walk normally and even she chased my sister's dog without any problem. 2 days after that we were walking at the street all of a sudden she lay done and when I checked her ,again start to limp. I message her knee and felt the pop back to normal. 3 days after that no problem with knee but I took her to vet and she with force pop the knee out and in and after x-ray suggest me to do the surgery. She said it is luxating patella. I said need to do some research about it. short story checked the web and find out that in general if the dog walks and runs without any issue and this is happening once or twice a month and pet dose not have any other problem no need to do the surgery. What is wrong with my calf?

So on Friday night, I was sleeping when my calf got an excruciating cramp that Wouldn't go away. I was straightening my leg and whatnot, and finally after about five minutes and some tears it went away. On Saturday everything was fine, I played soccer and just stayed home. That night, my calf started to ache again. I just dealt with it and kept walking around and stuff. Then on Sunday the pain was unbearable. It was hurting whenever I put weight on it so I was limping. However I played soccer with it and during the game it didn't hurt too much. I came off the field and it felt really sore again. I came home, just layed on the couch and hobbled around the house. I got my mum to put some dencorub on it and massage it in but it didn't really do anything. Now it is Monday morning and it still hurts to put any weight on it. I have handraised them from when they were about 2 weeks old after the mum was backed over in our driveway (by my cousin whom I still won't talk to) I watched them being born and was with their mum throughout labor and the birth. Dachshund leg injury HELP!?

last night I went to hand my younger brother our male dachshund. I thought he had the dog, but he didn't and I dropped him from about 4 feet up on his back leg. He yiked about five times and stopped. It is about 8 hours later and he is still hobbling around on 3 legs. As far as we can tell there is no swelling or bleeding. He does not seem to be in great distress and we can still pet him. Last weekend I got my navel pierced..On day 7, it stopped hurting and on day 8 it got a little tender but not like before.. I wash it with softsoap antibacterial each morning and night and I also use h2ocean purified salt water on it as recommended by my piercer so I do not think its infected and I have no symptons of infection. I also move it uo a little when I wash it so I dont get the crusties caught?Could it be the soap that made it tender?

I Think My Puppy Might Be Sick?

I have a 3 month old maltese/shih tzu please no insults about him being a mutt. This morning my mom took him for a walk in a newer area, it was a big grassy hill. She came home and said he ate A LOT of weeds and a rose petal. Half an hour after, he started throwing up, he threw lots of weeds and some of his food, we thought it was no big deal. I went outside only in socks, and suddenly my feet stung; still in pain, there are splotches all over my feet?

I live in FL; I went barefoot outside to walk my dog real quick, and I figured it was okay to step out in the grass/weeds, but it felt like I stepped on a bunch of teeny tiny tacks or I had a million splinters. My dog wasn't bothered. I ran cold and then hot water on my feet for a long time and then hobbled back inside to put peroxide on. How can I make the pain go away and should I be worried if this is something poisonous? I have a bunch of ants out in the yard, but I've never had anything like this; I even sat down right after my left foot flared up and nothing bit me. Does anybody know what the heck this is?

Why does my dog howl?

When I leave the house to go to school,my mother says my dog howls. Like a wolf. He throws his head back and everything. He howls about 5 to 6 times and just lies there at the door, moping. Even if I get out of the car he scratches at the windows and howls. He's not a big dog, he's a small little maltese! When you look at him, you would have no intention that such a little dog would let out such a big howl. But... why does he do it?

How much hay should I give my horse?

My horse has been exiled from his share paddock for trying too hard to be a stallion (haha). So, now I need to subsitute his roughage intake as he is in a grass less stable. I work 8-5 four day a week so I normally feed him a hard feed mixture of chaff, pellets, salt, soyabean, cod liver oil and copra. So, just wondering how much hay he would need and would it be fine to give it to him at night with his evening feed?

Should I get a Maltese or a Shih Tzu?

1. I have a shih tzu and they are the best. 2. Either dog cost about $400 - $1000 that just what they usually cost unless you adopt one than it's about $100 thats the prices in my area. If you get either one they cost money to groom them and that's about $50 each time you have it groomed and that's every month no getting around it. 3. Every dog is obedient if you train them right, not yelling and screaming just being firm and sticking to it like you would a child. 4. No dogs should be home for long periods of time but if people who owned dogs didn't work than who would have one. 5. Any dog is good first time pets just keep in mind of the grooming some people wouldn't listen thinking that they can do it theirself and shouldn't. Good luck with whatever you do.

the reason you hear people claim hobbles are cruel is because they feel if the mare is kicking at the stud and you hobble her legs together, she is being raped. those people dont realize that a mare in heat wants to breed. as people we interrupt the natural courtship process to keep the valuable stud safe. even a mare in heat in the wild will tease and fight off the stud for a few days before giving in. No i dont think hobbles are cruel, they protect stallions from getting hurt thats it.

Medical Neglect by Doctor? What should I do?

2 days ago I got out of bed and as soon as my left foot hit the floor I got a searing pain clean up my leg. The more I attempted to walk on it the worse it got. I have been taking tylenol and tramadole for the pain but neither are helping so I finally decided to go to the doctor today. I went to a quick care facility as soon as my husband got home from work. After they took 30mins to get me checked in I went back to the room where I spoke with 2 MAs about what was wrong, allergies and so on. Then the Doctor came in and did a very brief exam (less than 2 mins) then started giving me crap about how they close at 9 and it was 8:50. So she would have to see if an xray tech was still there because again they close at 9. The xray tech came and got me mins. later. As soon as I got back to the room the Doctor came in and said that because the pharmacy closes at 9 she went ahead and got me a prescription of ibuprofen, however I am highly allergic to motrin and anything that has motrin in it. Which sadly enough was in my file so she clearly didnt take the time to look at my file. She then prescribes me tamadole which I had already told her and the MA I had taken it and it wasnt helping either. Then she told me that my xrays were fine and that there was nothing wrong with the bone and the problem MIGHT BE tendenitis but she wasnt sure and suggested physical theropy which I turned down. I tried asking her a couple of questions about my foot such as if it would get better and when would the pain subside and if it would be better if I tried to putting presure on it. She told me she didnt know if it would get better or not. She wasnt concerned at all she was just to worried about getting off work she was more concerned about getting off work then my case. So now I am seeking Medical and Legal advice Is this medical neglect? And a lilttle side note because I know thatI will get some kiind of comment on it so before hand. NO I am not a drug addict and then was not a ploy for narcotics. I am in server pain and suffer thorough it daily I can only walk if I hobble ever where to do it. And I know that It sounds bad that I turned down physical theropy but im not going to waste time and money to take physical theorpy for tendenitis when shes not even sure thats what it is.

First have it scanned for a chip. Just because it's in poor condition right now doesn't mean it was abandoned, possibly it ran away (since it does have a collar). Place ads on craigslist and in your local papers, put flyers in vet offices & call your local shelters to report you've found him. If his owner doesn't come forward in a decent amount of time, then you can make up your mind whether you can, or want to keep him. You can also start calling local no-kill shelters and rescues and see if any do, or will have room for him

He is potty trained as far as peeing goes-it took a while but he never pee`s inside anymore! yay Bentley! :) Anywho, A couple weeks ago I came home and Bentley greeted me at the door-well he peed from being excited which I was like ok ur just over excited, then i woke up the other morning and I don`t know if I just didnt move fast enough, but he pees near my guest bedroom...totally lifts his leg on the french doors. :( and leaves a stream of pee allll the way downstairs to the back door-and a puddle on the landing of the stairs. Then earlier today he ran over to me, jumped onto the couch and sat on me and completely peed ON ME! Which I thought was really unusual...like why would he do that/that happen? Then tonight-its late but I go to take him outside well books it downstairs and pees before I get there...and then he jumps on these pillows right next to the back door and pees on the pillows...I don`t know if somethings wrong with him, if hes drinking to much water and not properly potty trained? Or like why? Like why would he pee on me? and the pillow like that? Help or advice please :) thanks guys!

Hello, I am going to MEPS on thursday for the United States Army. I went a couple of months ago and didn't make my abdominal tape, I was REALLY close. I have lost about 30lbs since, and about 3 inches on my abdomen. I know all of the tricks, bath salts, prep-h, diuretics. Anything else that might help me? I was taped by my recruiter last week at 37" and I need to be under 38". I stick to a healthy diet and workout via Crossfit. I think I'll be fine but I'm just concerned about failing. Is there anyway I could quickly drop some inches around my abdomen\gain on my neck? THANKS!

A couple months ago, my right knee suddenly started hurting really bad. It was really sharp and it was a huge struggle walking to my classes at school. Recently, my left knee has been doing the same thing! Super sharp pain whenever I walk. Now both of my knees are in pain when I walk so I'm hobbling around to get to my classes haha I wrapped my left one in an ACE wrap and it helped a little but I still had to limp. ermm...not tonsillitis to be sure. the tonsils are in the throat not in the legs and I don't even know if dogs have them. Maybe panosteitis? Give him a children's aspirin and a vitamin C twice a day with his food. Keep exercise to a minimum and he will grow out of it. If the pain becomes too bad ask the vet for some rimadyl.

Severe Foot Blister - Cut skin away or wait?

I couldn't tell you what you should do...and hard to say without seeing it...but if was me and a flap of loose skin..I'd sterilize a small pair of scissors and cut at least a good portion of the top of the flap of skin off...as you describe it, its dead skin. I would just not cut too close to the regular skin on foot. A doctor or foot doctor is prob the best choice especially as those of us here have no real idea of how it looks, plus a doctor would have the proper tools to do it too

Would it be safe to use hobbles for my horse?

I have a very bad tempered and argumentative thoroughbred, we were leaving for a show, he could see his two mates in the field and just went bananas striking out- which he often does when he's angry, does it in the stable when he's left alone. He then reared up and got stuck up on the tack lockers- now i don't know whether he meant to get up there or if he just struck out high and then found himself up there. What do I do about my abusive father towards my two dogs?

My dad has abused both my dogs. One is a miniature Maltese, who is very old and used to have seizures every night when he was young, and the other is a Red Healer mix, just a little puppy. Should I lose power when the intake gasket goes bad?

I own a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, 3400 V-6, I haven't noticed much in the way of water in the oil but have ripped it apart to change the intake gasket anyways. The main problem I noticed was loss of coolant and when the car was warm, loss of power. I drove my car to a neighbouring town and on my way back had no power. When I trained my puppies to go where I wanted them to go I used this spray stuff and it attracts the dogs to go there..it should be at a pet store. Put puppy pads in the crate..my dogs can't ever hold it when I put it in the cages for long periods of time while I am gone. They might have a class available at a doggie school close to you. but about the puppy pads they are really easy to clean up and get a smaller crate so the dog will be forced to go in the corner or else it won't be able to sit..and I'm sure that it doesn't enjoy sitting in it's own poop

It sounds like you really know what you want! I personally love both breeds, but they really are both prone to many health issues. They both will need regular check ups with a good vet, of course, and daily cleaning between wrinkles. Also, if you live somewhere that gets really hot, I might think about another breed, as both of them have flat faces and cannot tolerate heat. Personality wise, I'd say frenchies are more friendly in general than bulldogs, but it's really about how they are brought up and how well socialized they are. I had my impacted wisdom teeth removed 4 days ago, should i still be swollen and sore?

My jaw is still swollen, but has gone down quite a bit. my jaw feels really sore as well, i dont think it is dry socket because i dont have pain in the exctraction site, its just sore and i cant open my mouth very wide. I need to paper train my puppy?

Don't you just love the "I live in a city apartment so I have to paper train my dog" excuse. It is just as bad as the "My dog can't go out to potty because he/she hasn't had all their shots yet" excuse. You can take the pup out long enough to let it pee or poo. Just don't let it roam around all over. I have had many dogs in my lifetime and they have all been trained to potty outside before they have had all their shots. None of them ever got sick from going potty.

Found a deformed kitten, what should I do?

I just found a kitten that's a few weeks old and its deformed. It wasn't gonna make it on its own outside, so I picked it up. Basically it's two back legs are completely useless and it has no tail. It's anus is prolapsed a little. We can't find any place to take it in and today is Sunday so a lot of places are closed and then tomorrow is Memorial Day so everything is going to be closed. Is there some place we can take it that won't put it down? It's not in any pain and it's learned to hobble on its two front legs. I just feel so bad taking it to the humane association because they'll put it down.

My dog is coughing like there is something stuck in her throat but there isn't?

about 20 minutes ago, she started coughing about ever 10 seconds as if there were something stuck in her throat. Now, she keeps coughing every 3-8 minutes. It's not choking because it's been 20 minutes. It looks like she wants to throw up but nothing comes out. I really don't know what to do. She's breathing perfectly and she's walking and running/trotting fine. I'm just still a bit worried, what can it be? turning 2 in november, she's a maltese and we got her from a breeder not a kennel. I don't think one teaspoon of salt will cause any harm. I used it myself as well several times when a fish was injured or had some disease. Never caused any harm to them. I don't know how much salt you actually need to kill ich. but i recommend you to just get some medicine to be on the safe side.

I'm sixteen; so i'm not real old but when my bestfriend and I were growing up; first grade to the middle of ninth grade we were real close. I think you've answered your own question. If a laptop is faster than your home pc and it includes the parts you want to upgrade to, then yes it will be faster. The Core2 series is a step up from Celeron, it has a bigger cache (celeron might not even have a L3 cache, which core2 does), and you will see a speed difference. My legs are so sore I can barely walk?

So I just started track and I'm pretty out of shape. I started on Thursday and today is Saturday and my legs are so sore, I've just been hobbling around all day. I'm worried because I have to go back to practice and practice is everyday after school. Do you think this is okay, or will running everyday on sore legs injure them?

How do you kill a weak chicken peacefully?

I have a chicken and for the past week or two she has not been doing real well.Every time i would come home she would be laying in her tub of food. It was kinda hard getting her out unless I picked her up and put her in the chicken house. But at the beginning of the weak I realized something was really wrong with her. So I isolated her from the other chickens so they would not get sick, just in case it was contagious. She is really weak and cant even stand up (She was limping/hobbling at first). Her right leg is the weakest. She wont eat and the only time I can get her to drink is by forcing her beak in the water, then she will sometimes drink it. She has lost a lot of weight. My gerbil has been sleeping non stop for the last few days. She usually is very energetic and runs on her wheel but she hasn't touched her wheel in a while. a bark collar is a good solution. The first time the dog barks it'll beep then if the continue there will be a small shock that increases every 30 seconds until they stop. My queensland puppy had the same problem. I did the bark collar for 3 months and she stop barking and now I don't even use it.

I'm glad you got it drinking because this is most essential for baby chicks. You now need to get it back with its mother ASAP, so she can keep it warm and teach it to feed. It won't thrive if you try to raise it on its own and the longer you wait, the less chance there'll be of its survival. If you don't do it straight away, she may even reject it. Did my dog have a seizure?

I have a maltese that is 1 year old as of two days ago. Yesterday, I was laying down in my bed watching tv and she was laying down sleeping at my feet. I go to pick her up so she can wake up, and when I do her body just flops over and her head flops back. I try picking her head up a second time and it went back down again. Then after about three seconds she wakes up and goes back to normal. Usually when I pick her up when she's sleeping she wakes right up and is normal. But this time it was almost like she died for a few seconds then came back to life. This is the first time she's done this. Does anyone know what it is or what caused it?

Was my brother just joking when he told me about this one pokemon game?

I'm not sure if he was, but he told me about there was this one game an old game for gameboy color (like the silver/crystal versions) called Ghost version (i think) anyway it starts out as a normal version would, but the first pokemon you get is called Ghost.. Ghost has this one attack called Curse, and as you progress through the game it's the only attack he has. when you use Curse on the enemy pokemon, their HP goes down to 0 and their 'cry' is heard several octaves lower and slower (so you get the idea that you've killed it.) You go through the whole game like this until the end, killing everyone's pokemon, and the farther into the game you get, people start getting scared and depressed, the game gets really dark. i guess you beat the elite four, then the screen goes black. Then after a pause you find yourself in lavender town, as an old man. Cuz you know lavender town, its supposed to be where all the pokemon die.. all the pokemon that you killed. apparently many years have gone by.. If you check your pokemon party, you'll see that Ghost is gone and you have no pokemon. You hobble over pewter town, i think, because that's the only place you can go, when suddenly someone meets you (i think ash). He starts a battle and guess what? He has Ghost. Ghost uses curse on you. The screen goes black. The end.
