My unwell baby chick... one day old?

I'm glad you got it drinking because this is most essential for baby chicks. You now need to get it back with its mother ASAP, so she can keep it warm and teach it to feed. It won't thrive if you try to raise it on its own and the longer you wait, the less chance there'll be of its survival. If you don't do it straight away, she may even reject it. Tuck it in with the others so she doesn't notice the difference. Good luck, let us know how you get on!
