Did my dog have a seizure?

I have a maltese that is 1 year old as of two days ago. Yesterday, I was laying down in my bed watching tv and she was laying down sleeping at my feet. I go to pick her up so she can wake up, and when I do her body just flops over and her head flops back. I try picking her head up a second time and it went back down again. Then after about three seconds she wakes up and goes back to normal. Usually when I pick her up when she's sleeping she wakes right up and is normal. But this time it was almost like she died for a few seconds then came back to life. This is the first time she's done this. Does anyone know what it is or what caused it?
