I need help with grooming my 3 month old maltese!?

I am looking to have my maltese kept in a puppy cut. Part of the reason I want my dog to have a puppy cut is because i live in a very warm climate, it is 105 right now. So I thought that she would be more comfortable with shorter hair. And her hair is starting to get really long, so I started looking for groomers in my area, Fresno Ca. But my puppy does not have all of her shots, and the groomers will not take her without all of her shots. And she will not have all of them till August. So were can I get my maltese groomed?
