Pelvic vs stomach ultrasound? are they the same thing? 10 points?

i'm a male and couple of days ago i did an ultrasound from my pelvic area in the emergency room. They gave an IV (salt & water) to make my bladder full for the ultrasound. I also have another appointment for an ultrasound tomorrow which i got before needing to go to the emergency room but it says its from my stomach and i shouldn't have anything to eat or drink 8 hours before. Is pelvic and stomach ultrasound the same thing? I don't wanna waste my time doing the same test twice.
