Maltese and cats- are they friendly to each other?

It depends on the dog. I would never adopt a dog without first bringing him into the home so you can see the dynamics. Also maltese are trusting, intelligent and playful dogs although they can be hard to housebreak. A dog is can be very costly and is a huge responsibility so please think it through and don't simply adopt a dog because it is "cute."
