Filled up with gas and my vehicle hobbles, it happens every now and again, what could be wrong?

No one else has complained about bad fuel at the place that I frequent, but every so often right after I fill up my vehicle hobbles and runs really rough. I'm suspecting it something to do with my vehicle not that it's bad fuel or anything. Any ideas? I'm going to see a mechanic on pay day, but that's a week away. I just hope it isn't anything serious.
